The advanced training builds upon our "Learning and Development Assistant for Schools and Daycares" course and qualifies you in a practical way for the role of an assistant in Bavarian daycare centers.
You will learn the most important fundamentals of early childhood education, development, and relationship building, and gain confidence in everyday pedagogical practice. The further education program is based on the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan (BayBEP) and the Bavarian Childcare Act (BayKiBiG).
Upon successful completion, you can support pedagogical specialists and supplemental staff in everyday daycare and guide children in their developmental and learning processes.

In the first block, you will learn the most important basics for starting work in a daycare center in Bavaria. You will learn about the structure of a daycare center, your role as an assistant and key pedagogical principles.
Digital skills & learning organization: To begin with, you will learn how to use digital learning platforms for professional documentation and communication within the team. You will also develop strategies for self-organization and structured learning.
Basics of daycare pedagogy:You will learn about daycare centers as a place of education, early childhood education and the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan (BayBEP). You will also learn about typical daily routines and important basics of the BayKiBiG.
Labor market Kita Bavaria & application: You will learn about career opportunities in the childcare sector in Bavaria and prepare professional application documents. Role plays will help you to prepare for job interviews with confidence.
Reflection & professionalization: Through case work and reflection, you will develop a professional pedagogical attitude and strengthen your confidence in dealing with children.
In the second block, you transfer your knowledge to the everyday pedagogical life in the daycare center. You will develop confidence in dealing with children, strengthen your role in the team and learn to reflect professionally on pedagogical situations.
Pedagogical implementation in everyday life: You will learn how the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan (BayBEP) is implemented in everyday daycare and how to accompany children in play, educational activities and everyday situations.
Observation, development & relationship building: You will deal with the observation and documentation of development processes and learn how to accompany children sensitively in their social and emotional development.
Teamwork, parent communication & practical reflection: You will strengthen your cooperation in the daycare team, hold discussions with parents and reflect on educational situations together as a team.
Consolidation & exam preparation: At the end, you will deepen your pedagogical knowledge and prepare yourself specifically for the Final examination before.
