Module 1:
Caregiver

In the Care Assistant module, you will learn, for example:

– Fundamentals of Care, Personal Hygiene, Nutrition & Mobility
– Dealing with elderly and demented people
– Emergency situations & legal basis
– Care documentation, team communication & communication with relatives
– Housekeeping, daily living activities & geriatrics

Module 2:
Caregiver after
Sections 43b, 53b of the Social Code Book XI

The module "Caregiver according to §§ 43b, 53b SGB XI" deals with:

– Activating care and daily support
Communication with people with dementia
– Biographical work, sensory promotion, and social participation
- Role of the caregiver and legal foundations

Here's what's possible after your graduation:

Outpatient care services

You will travel independently to people's homes and provide care, household assistance, and daily structure. The contact is often close and personal – you will become an important anchor in daily life for many.

Nursing Homes & Senior Residences

In residential facilities, you support people in need of care with daily life. You are part of a team and contribute to ensuring that residents can live with dignity and good care.

Assisted Living & Household Services

In supported living arrangements, you help older adults remain as independent as possible. You assist with shopping, cooking, or cleaning and are a point of contact for daily life – with heart and reliability.

Day Care Centers & Dementia WGs

Here, you accompany smaller groups during the day and create engaging activities such as cooking together, playing games, or singing. You are an important point of contact, providing security and structure, especially for people with dementia.

Clinics & Hospices

You are also in demand in hospitals or when accompanying seriously ill people. You provide comfort, talk to relatives, observe changes – and give people the feeling of being seen.

Perspective: Rise

With a qualification as a nursing assistant and caregiver, you meet the requirements for further training, e.g., to become a certified nursing assistant or later a registered nurse. This allows you to advance your career step by step, at your own pace.
